Restaurant sealed in Famagusta after inspections
In Famagusta, municipal inspectors conducted checks of cafes and restaurants together with food safety specialists.
A total of 9 establishments were inspected, where the sanitary condition of the premises, food storage conditions, staff hygiene, and the availability of necessary documents were assessed.
Following the inspection, four establishments were issued notices requiring them to rectify violations within a set period.
Meanwhile, one restaurant was immediately sealed because, according to the inspectors, it was operating under conditions that completely failed to meet sanitary standards. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the establishment.
The municipality emphasized that inspections will continue further, as protecting the health of residents remains a priority.
