On February 21, rainy weather returns to Northern Cyprus

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Wednesday, February 21, the region is under the influence of low pressure and cool, humid air.

Meteorologists promise variable cloudiness and brief showers, especially in the Karpas area.

The air temperature will rise 2-3°C above the seasonal climatic norm: the maximum temperature will reach 21 degrees. The wind is northwesterly, of moderate strength.

There are no active warnings from meteorologists in Northern Cyprus.

Weather on February 21 by regions:

Northern coast: Kyrenia – 19°C, Lapta – 20°C, Akdeniz - 16°C, Alevkaya - 16°C, Esentepe - 17°C.

Western coast: Lefke – 18°C, Güzelyurt – 21°C.

Central part: Nicosia – 19°C, Ercan – 19°C.

Eastern coast: Famagusta – 20°C, Iskele – 19°C.

Karpas: Yenierenkoy – 19°C."
