In Northern Cyprus, the SÜTEK Boğaziçi Milk Collection Center has opened
The opening ceremony of the SÜTEK Boğaziçi Milk Collection Center took place in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). It is a joint project of the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the Cyprus-Turkish Dairy Industry Organization (SÜTEK), and the European Union.
The opening ceremony in the village of Boğaziçi in İskele was attended by Prime Minister Yunel Yustel, Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Hussein Chavush, Minister of National Education Nazim Chavushoglu, İskele District Governor Ertugrul Toroslu, as well as some deputies, officials, and livestock breeders.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Prime Minister noted that the center, which will support small ruminant production, will make a significant contribution to milk production.
Yunel Yustel thanked everyone who contributed to the construction of the center and wished that it would benefit the region.
Mayor of İskele Hasan Sadykoglu also emphasized that with the opening of the center, the region will ensure quality and hygiene in milk production, as well as favorable conditions for the development of the livestock sector.
