Meteorological Service of Cyprus Issues Second Yellow Storm Warning

The Meteorological Service of Cyprus has issued a second yellow warning related to expected severe thunderstorms. It is in effect from 03:00 to 17:00 on Thursday.
According to the forecast, isolated thunderstorms are expected across the island during the day, with some areas experiencing hail and squally winds.
In the morning, the bad weather will affect the western, northern, and southern coastal areas, moving by midday to the mountainous, eastern, and central regions of the island.
Precipitation intensity may reach 35–55 millimeters per hour.
The yellow warning indicates a higher likelihood of hazardous weather events during the specified period. The Meteorological Service will provide updates and, if necessary, additional notifications.
