Frederick University held a major career fair for students and graduates
Frederick University in Nicosia successfully organized the 2026 Career Fair under the motto «From Campus to Career», bringing together more than 45 local and international companies, organizations, and professional associations. The event became one of the key platforms for students and graduates to familiarize themselves with the modern labor market and professional development opportunities.
During the fair, participants were able to communicate directly with employers, learn about in-demand professions and industry requirements, and get acquainted with current employment trends. Special attention was paid to interactive workshops dedicated to preparing a competitive CV, developing «soft» skills, and the impact of artificial intelligence on the future of work.
One of the central parts of the program featured speeches by Frederick University alumni and guest specialists, who shared personal career growth stories and professional advice. The organizers noted that such meetings help students build future plans more confidently and better understand employer expectations.
Director of the Studies and Student Welfare Service, Andrea Athanasiou, emphasized that the university continues to strengthen cooperation with businesses to ensure academic programs meet real market needs. Head of the Career Center, Toula Dimitropoulou, added that the fair's success confirmed the importance of the close link between academia and industry.
Company representatives highly praised the students' level of preparation, while participants noted the usefulness of direct communication with potential employers and opportunities for professional networking.
