Appeal of three convicted of cocaine trafficking in Limassol dismissed
The Court of Appeal of Cyprus has dismissed the appeals of three individuals previously convicted of distributing cocaine in Limassol. The court found the defense's arguments groundless and upheld the sentences.
Only for one of the convicts was the sentence slightly reduced, while for the others, the sentences remained unchanged.
The case concerns organized drug trafficking, which the police uncovered after conducting operational activities. During the investigation, evidence was gathered regarding the defendants' involvement in illegal cocaine trafficking.
The court emphasized the seriousness of such crimes and the need for strict punishment for the distribution of hard drugs.
