In Sefaköy, a serial burglar who stole 6 foreign passports has been arrested
The TRNC Police have uncovered a series of apartment thefts in Sefaköy. The illegal intruder stole cash and 6 foreign passports from two apartments.
According to the police press office, during the investigation, it was determined that the suspect entered a residential building in Sefaköy through a balcony door and stole £6,000.
Police quickly tracked down the perpetrator, a 43-year-old man who was residing in the country without a residency permit and had no legal status.
Following his arrest, it was discovered that the suspect may be involved in another apartment theft where 34,290 Turkish lira and £360, along with passports belonging to six individuals, were stolen.
Investigations into both apartment thefts are ongoing.
