Drugs found with three individuals on TRNC roads
Police discovered drugs in two vehicles stopped on the Güzelyurt–Lefke and İskele–Ercan roads. Three people were arrested as a result of the operation.
According to police, early in the morning on the Güzelyurt–Lefke ring road, a car driven by 30-year-old Y.A., with 19-year-old female passenger S.A., was stopped. During a search, approximately 84 grams of cannabis and 4 grams of cocaine were found. Both were detained.
In another incident on the İskele–Ercan road, police stopped a car driven by 22-year-old K.K.A. A search revealed approximately 2 grams of cannabis. The young man was also arrested.
Police reported that the investigation is ongoing.
