Police chase during an inspection in the TRNC

During an inspection as part of measures against illegal migration in Northern Cyprus, suspects attempted to flee from the police. After being ordered to stop, they tried to evade officers, which led to a police chase.
Police officers responded promptly, and the pursuit was short-lived. Eventually, the suspects were stopped and detained. The circumstances of the incident and possible violations of migration legislation are being investigated.
The police reminded that attempting to evade an inspection is considered a serious offense and entails additional liability measures.
