On April 19, cloudy and dusty weather persists in Northern Cyprus

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Friday, April 19, the region continues to be affected by low pressure and warm moist air. Three weather warnings are still in effect in the region.

Meteorologists predict cloudy weather with no precipitation. The air temperature is expected to be 3-4 degrees above seasonal climatic norms. In some areas, the mercury will rise to 29°C.

The wind is southwesterly, of moderate strength. No storms are expected in the region today.

Northern Cyprus maintains a moderate level of ultraviolet radiation and a high probability of forest fires.

People with normal skin can be in the sun for about 20 minutes. However, it is strongly recommended to wear hats and sunglasses.

Moreover, dust brought from the Middle East persists in the atmosphere.

East Coast: Famagusta – 26°C, Iskele – 29°C.

Karpas: Yenierenköy – 27°C.
