On April 12th, cloudy weather and brief showers are expected in Northern Cyprus

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Friday, April 12th, the region will still be under the influence of low pressure and cool, humid air. Meteorologists forecast variable cloudiness with brief showers after noon.

Light rain will mainly occur in Guzelyurt, Famagusta, and the central parts of the country. Despite the rainy weather, no severe thunderstorms are expected today.

The air temperature remains within seasonal climatic norms. In some areas, temperatures will rise to 28°C.

Moderate winds have shifted direction to the northwest. No storms are expected in the region today.

Two emergency warnings from meteorologists continue to be in effect for the region: due to ultraviolet radiation and the possibility of forest fires. People with normal skin can stay in the sun for about 15 minutes. However, it is strongly recommended to wear hats and sunglasses.
