Residents of Limassol have been offered the opportunity to buy garbage bins for 10 euros and collector's wine
Limassol Municipality is subsidizing the purchase of 120-liter household containers throughout the city as part of efforts to improve waste collection. These containers are available for purchase at the subsidized price of 10 euros each. Additionally, residents are encouraged to buy collector's wine for 6 euros.
To acquire the subsidized containers for 10 euros, residents can visit the open-air public market (Pazaraki), which operates every Saturday on George Thyrotou Street, or the municipal wholesale market in the 3rd industrial zone of Ypsonas from Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 13:30. To do so, individuals will need to fill out a special form and provide a copy of their waste disposal invoice.
It's noted that residents can obtain one 120-liter container for each waste disposal invoice.
"We invite residents to take advantage of the subsidy to purchase a container and thus contribute to the municipality's efforts to make our city as clean as possible," stated the municipality.
Additionally, at these locations, bottles of the collector's brand wine "Marathi," released for the 2023 Wine Festival, will be available for purchase at a cost of 6 euros each.
