In Protaras, parking will be free until the end of March 2026
Parking areas in the tourist zone of Protaras will operate free of charge until March 31, 2026. This was reported by the unified municipality of Paralimni–Deryneia.
The authorities explain that the decision is aimed at supporting winter tourism:
- to make access easier for those who choose Protaras in the low season;
- to support cafés, restaurants, and leisure venues that continue to operate in winter.
The measure is part of a broader package of actions to support the local economy and promote Protaras as a year-round resort. The municipality emphasizes that it will continue to implement initiatives that increase visits to the area and improve convenience for residents and guests.
