Paphos to Host the “Festival of Childhood 2026” for World Children’s Day
The square in front of Paphos Town Hall will turn into a large festive venue for children and their families on May 30. The “Festival of Childhood 2026,” organized by the Paphos Committee for the Protection and Welfare of Children in honor of World Children’s Day, will take place here.
The celebration will begin on Saturday at 18:00 and will bring together dozens of organizations, educational institutions, volunteer groups and city services. Organizers promise a rich program with games, creative workshops, musical performances, interactive entertainment and surprises for young guests.
Festival coordinator Dr. Stalo Georgiou noted that the main goal of the event is to give children joy, inspiration and unforgettable experiences, as well as to emphasize the importance of caring for children’s well-being in society.
The municipality of Paphos, the Cyprus Police, the Fire Service, PAFOS FC, Neapolis University Pafos, as well as numerous cultural and community associations are taking part in organizing the festival.
The organizers emphasize that every child’s smile matters, and the festival itself will be an evening entirely dedicated to children, their creativity and family leisure.
Admission to the event will be free for all residents and visitors to Paphos.
