In Limassol, a Church Service for Animals will take place
A church service in defense of animals will be held in Limassol. The event is organized by the Animal Party and Bishop Athanasios of Limassol.
The unusual church service will take place at 12:30 in the courtyard of Panayia Katoikiki Church. During the sacrament, Father Athanasios will bless all the animals present.
Organizers encourage members of the community to bring any household pets or animals they wish to the church service, including cats, dogs, birds, lizards, spiders, hamsters, and even praying mantises.
