Fire drill to take place in Larnaca
On Wednesday, the Fire Service will conduct a training exercise in Larnaca as part of preparation and enhancing operational readiness.
The exercise will take place from 10:00 to 12:00. Units from the Larnaca District Fire Service will participate.
According to the training scenario, rescuers will practice extinguishing a fire and rescuing people from a multi-story building.
The drill will be held at the Althea building on Engomi Street — an 11-story tower located approximately 220 meters from Mackenzie Beach.
