Larnaca to host Livadia Night Run on September 20

The Livadia Night Run 2025 will take place for the first time on Saturday, September 20, in the Livadia municipal district, organized with the support of the Municipality of Larnaca, the Livadia municipal district, and S.A.S. Sports Events Management. The event features 5 km and 10 km races, a children’s fun run, and concludes with an after-party including a DJ set and street food for family enjoyment.
The organizer notes that the event combines both sports and entertainment programs and is planned as a regular city festival. Due to the race, from 16:00 to 23:30, a section of Petraki Kyprianou Street near Agiou Savva Church and Agiou Savva Avenue (west lane) will be partially closed. From 17:00 to 22:00, United Nations Avenue — from the Livadia municipal roundabout — and Alexandrou Panagouli Avenue (up to the traffic light) will be closed, with traffic from Larnaca towards Livadia completely blocked at the traffic light.
Access to intersections and entrances will also be restricted: the junction of Terpsichoris Street with Alexandrou Panagouli Avenue (towards Livadia), Andrea Stylianou Street at the intersection with Petraki Kyprianou (entry allowed only for residents up to the roundabout), and several other connections to United Nations Avenue and Alexandrou Panagouli Avenue. Drivers are advised to follow the instructions of the Larnaca traffic police, the municipal traffic department, and the on-site traffic controllers.
