A ski slope opens in the Troodos Mountains for the first time this season

In the Troodos Mountains, a ski slope is opening to visitors for the first time this winter season. According to the meteorological service, today, starting at 10:00, the Sun Valley I (Aphrodite) slope will begin operating.
At present, the snow cover is sufficient only for the operation of one slope, therefore the remaining ski runs remain closed for now.
At the same time, the lift on the “North Wall” slope will be in operation. It will run daily from 10:00 to 16:00 and is intended exclusively for ascent and walks — skiing on this section is not предусмотрено.
Visitors are advised to take weather conditions into account and follow updates, as the operating mode of the slopes depends on the amount of snow.
