Cyprus passes law on moving vehicles after traffic accidents
The Parliament of Cyprus has passed a bill regulating the actions of drivers following road traffic accidents.
According to the new regulation, drivers will be able to move their vehicles after a collision if the accident did not result in serious injuries and there is no risk to the safety of road users. This will allow for roads to be cleared faster and reduce traffic jams that often occur due to minor accidents.
The initiators of the law note that in many cases, vehicles remained on the road until the arrival of the police, leading to serious congestion. The new rule is intended to make traffic safer and more efficient.
