On the Paphos–Limassol highway, the “fast” lane and the Parekklisia exit will be closed
The Department of Public Works in Cyprus announced that on Tuesday, 23/9/2025, and Wednesday, 24/9/2025, from 22:00 to 05:30, work will be carried out to install concrete safety barriers on the shoulder and acceleration lane at the Parekklisia exit toward Limassol.
During the works, approximately 300 meters in the direction of Limassol, the fast lane will be closed, and traffic will be organized along the slow lane.
In addition, the entrance to the highway toward Limassol from the coastal road near the Parekklisia exit will be closed; traffic toward Limassol will be diverted along the coastal road and via the Agios Tychonas exit.
According to the Press Service, from Monday, 22/9/2025, to Friday, 3/10/2025, excluding weekends and public holidays, from 08:30 to 15:00, periodic irrigation work will be carried out on the central median of the Paphos–Limassol (A6) highway in both directions. The work, conducted by the Forestry Department, will cover daily sections of 1.5–2 km over a total length of about 17.5 km.
During this work, the fast lane will be closed in sections, and traffic will be shifted to the slow lane.
