Direct Flights Between Larnaca and Bucharest Launched
Romanian airline AnimaWings has announced the launch of direct flights between Larnaca and Bucharest. The flights will operate three times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
The new route was introduced during a presentation at Larnaca Airport, organized with the support of the airport’s managing company, Hermes Airports.
Orthodoxou Aviation will take on the role of AnimaWings' general sales agent in Cyprus. The company will be responsible for sales, marketing, and flight coordination at Larnaca Airport.
Marius Pandel, Chairman of the Board and co-owner of AnimaWings, highlighted the significance of the new route:
“We’re officially opening the Bucharest-Larnaca route, which is an important milestone for AnimaWings’ expansion. Our goal is to strengthen air connectivity between Romania and key international destinations.”
Antonis Orthodu, CEO of Orthodoxou Aviation, added that the new route will help boost tourism and strengthen economic ties between Cyprus and Romania.
