CCTV captures burglary in Limassol residential building: police search for group of burglars
CCTV cameras captured the moment of a burglary in an apartment building in the Panthea area of Limassol. The footage shows two masked suspects entering the building grounds around 16:30.
They first attempted to open the back door, but were unsuccessful. After this, the perpetrators headed to the main entrance and managed to gain entry into the building.
Upon reaching the second floor, they broke into one of the apartments using a hammer and stole jewelry and valuables, the total value of which has not yet been determined.
Police found that the building's main entrance door was unlocked at the time of the incident.
According to law enforcement, a group of burglars using similar methods has recently been active in Limassol. Similar cases have been recorded in the areas of Ayios Athanasios, Panthea, Germasogeia, and Agia Fyla.
The investigation is ongoing.
