Vlassides Winery

Sophocles Vlassides founded Vlassides Winery in 1998 between the village of Koilani and the village of Vouni. The vineyards, whose altitude ranges from 700 to 1100 meters above sea level, are located in the area of the village of Kilani, south of Troodos.

Vlassides wines have received awards at wine competitions, including the Thessaloniki Wine Competition 2004 (Cabernet Sauvignon 2000), Brussels Wine Competition 2006 (Shiraz 2003), and the Cyprus Wine Competition 2008 (Shiraz 2006).

Zambartas Winery

The winery was founded in 2006 by Akis Zambartas, who, during his career as an oenologist at KEO, rediscovered 12 local grape varieties. Among them are Maratheftiko, Lefkada, Promara, Spourtiko, and Yannoudi.

Today, the legacy is continued by his son Marcos, a winemaker educated in Australia, who runs the winery together with his wife Marlene.

Tsiakkas Winery

Tsiakkas Winery was founded in 1988 and is located in Pelendri, in the Pitsilia area of the Limassol district. The vineyards are located in the same area. Cold winters and cool rainless summers combined with volcanic soils contribute to low yields, which are important for producing quality grapes.

The wines are produced from international and local grape varieties. The winery also produces Commandaria and Zivania.

Ktima Gerolemo Winery

Ktima Gerolemo Winery is located about 1 kilometer north of the village of Omodos at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level, in the center of the wine-growing region. Visitors are given a tour of the family-run winery and are told about the principles of organic vine growing and wine production. Tastings and snacks are usually available.

Kyperounda Winery

Kyperounda Winery is located in the village of Kyperounda (Limassol region). The four-hectare vineyard is located at an altitude of 1400 meters above sea level. The grape varieties include Xynisteri, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The underground cellar holds 250 oak barrels of 225 liters each, in which Kyperounda wine matures.

Oenou Yi Winery

The modern «Oenou Yi» winery combines high-tech equipment and tradition. It is located among vineyards at an altitude of 800 to 1060 meters (Mount Afamis). Over time, the rocky soils give the wine mineral notes and bright acidity.
