Motorcycle Drag Racing Event on Nicosia - Güzelyurt Main Road this Sunday
This Sunday, motorcycle enthusiasts will gather for drag races on the Nicosia - Güzelyurt main road. The road section will be temporarily closed to regular traffic in both directions.
Organized by the Turkish Cypriot Motorcycle Association, the drag racing event is scheduled for Sunday, May 12, from 09:00 to 18:00. According to police announcements, the road stretch between the Serhatköy underpass and the Mevlevi roundabout will be inaccessible to vehicles during the event.
Drivers will be rerouted to the old Nicosia - Güzelyurt main road via Serhatköy.
For those using the route during the motorcycle races, please adhere to the posted speed limits, road signs, and markings.
