Major Cleanup Completed in the Canbulat Area of Famagusta

The Gazimağusa Municipality, implementing the "Cleanest City" program, has completed comprehensive cleaning operations in the Canbulat area.
According to the municipality, construction debris and waste were removed from the area, main roads and adjacent streets were cleaned, and trash containers were washed and disinfected.
The municipality emphasized that sanitation is considered a priority service, directly affecting the city’s appearance and residents’ quality of life. Similar large-scale block-by-block cleanups continue according to the approved schedule.
Citizens were urged to act responsibly: not to leave construction or household waste in unauthorized places, to use containers properly, and to avoid actions that harm the environment. Authorities note that achieving a "clean Gazimağusa" is possible only through the combined efforts of the municipality and its residents.
