TRNC Police Detain 11 People Without Legal Status in 24 Hours
In Northern Cyprus, police conducted nationwide checks and controls yesterday. As a result, 11 people were detained after it was established that they were in the country without legal status and were living without residence permits.
According to police information, the operations were country-wide and were carried out by on-duty patrols and specialized units. Legal procedures have been initiated against the detainees. It is reported that the investigative actions are ongoing.
Law enforcement agencies clarified that all individuals found with violations were identified during routine checks. Further procedural actions regarding the detainees are being carried out in accordance with established regulations.
