Drunken disturbance with two knives: intoxicated offender detained in Güneşköy

The first day of Eid al-Adha in the TRNC began with a serious incident in the Güzelyurt region. In the village of Güneşköy, police officers detained a man who, in a state of severe alcohol intoxication, caused a disturbance right in the middle of the street. The offender was not only shouting loudly and disturbing public order, but also had dangerous bladed weapons on him.

During the search, police found two knives on the detained man. He was immediately arrested for appearing in public while intoxicated, disturbing the peace of citizens, and illegally carrying bladed weapons. The Güzelyurt Police have launched an official investigation.
