Don’t Forget to Change Your Clocks: Northern Cyprus Switches to Daylight Saving Time This Weekend
Northern Cyprus is set to move to Daylight Saving Time (DST) this weekend, so make sure to adjust your clocks!
According to the 2025 Daylight Saving Time Decree, approved by the Council of Ministers and published in the Official Gazette, clocks will move forward by one hour at 3:00 AM on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
DST will remain in effect until Sunday, October 26, 2025, when clocks will be set back one hour at 4:00 AM to standard time.
Northern Cyprus follows the European Union’s practice of adjusting clocks for better use of daylight and energy savings. However, the EU officially decided to end seasonal clock changes in 2021, allowing each member state to choose between permanent summer or winter time.
