Uncertainty over exams in Northern Cyprus following teachers' strike
The Cyprus Turkish Secondary Education Teachers' Union (KTOEÖS) has reported uncertainty regarding exams following the strike and protests held on April 6.
In a statement, the union said that teachers participated in the action alongside other unions to draw attention to the country's problems and demands for a dignified life.
Due to the strike, exams in all middle and high schools were not held on that day. The union emphasized that the exam schedule previously set by the Ministry of Education has not been adjusted, causing concern among students and parents.
KTOEÖS called on the Ministry of Education to jointly review the academic calendar and determine new exam dates to resolve the resulting uncertainty.
