Northern Cyprus to Feed 227,000 People at 65 Locations During Ramadan

During the month of Ramadan, iftars will be organized across Northern Cyprus at 17 fixed and 48 mobile locations. A total of 227,000 people are expected to be fed.
The initiative is organized through the cooperation of the Development and Economic Cooperation Office of the Turkish Embassy in Nicosia and the Cyprus Foundations Administration (Evkaf). Of the 17 fixed points, 14 are managed by the Development Office, two by the Cyprus Foundations Administration, and one by the General Directorate of Foundations of Turkey.
Fixed locations will open in areas including: Famagusta (Serdarlı, Çayönü, Güvercinlik, Maraş Square near Ulu Mosque), Girne (Dikmen, Karaoğlanoğlu), Güzelyurt (Fatih Mosque, METU campus), İskele (Central Mosque), Lefke (European University of Lefke), and Lefkoşa (Hala Sultan Mosque, Selimiye Mosque, Kuğulu Park, Yalçın Park in Gönyeli).
Due to the cold weather, all dining tables will be placed indoors. In 11 locations where indoor facilities are unavailable, the Civil Defense Service has set up 26 iftar tents.
Information regarding mobile locations will be published on the organizers' social media channels.
