Fatal Tractor Crash in Northern Cyprus
A man was killed in a tractor accident early this morning, marking the first deadly crash of the year on Northern Cyprus' roads. The incident occurred on the Tashpınar – Bostancı road.
According to the police, the accident took place at around 7:30 AM. Salih Özgünalp, a 68-year-old man from Tashpınar, was driving his tractor toward Bostancı when he lost control of the vehicle. The tractor veered off the road, overturned, and landed on its side.
Özgünalp died from his injuries at the scene of the crash. The police are continuing to investigate the cause of the fatal accident.
