Six-Day Water Outage Planned in Northern Cyprus from March 11 to 17, 2026
The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources of Northern Cyprus has announced a scheduled water outage from March 11 to 17. The shutdowns are due to repair and technical maintenance at the Güvercinlik reservoir and Tepebaşı pumping station as part of the water supply project from Turkey.
Water supply restrictions will affect the following settlements: Tepebaşı (Akdeniz, Koruçam, Karpaşa, Çamlıbel, 39th Division), Çayönü, and Güvercinlik.
During the works, part of the demand will be met by local water sources, and residents are asked to use water sparingly.
