On Northern Cyprus, rainy and windy weather will persist until noon on March 26th

According to the Department of Meteorology of the TRNC, on Tuesday, March 26th, the region remains under the influence of low pressure and cool, humid air. Storm warnings continue to be in effect on Northern Cyprus due to strong winds.

Today, until noon, meteorologists promise cloudy weather with occasional showers, especially in the central part of the country and on the Karpas Peninsula.

Air temperatures will rise 2-4 degrees above the seasonal climatic norm. The maximum temperature in some areas will reach 23-24°C.

The wind will be southwesterly, of moderate strength, with gusts up to storm force. Storms are expected throughout the region. An emergency warning due to strong winds is in effect in the region from 13:00 on March 25th until 14:00 today.

Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 22°C, Lapta – 21°C, Akdeniz - 22°C, Alevkaya - 19°C, Esentepe - 21°C.

Western Coast: Lefke – 23°C, Güzelyurt – 24°C.

Central Part: Nicosia – 23°C, Ercan – 23°C.

Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 23°C, Iskele – 24°C.

Karpas: Yenierenkoy – 21°C.
