On February 5th, variable cloudiness and brief showers are expected in Northern Cyprus

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Monday, February 5th, the region remains under the influence of low pressure, as well as cold and humid air. There are no active emergency warnings from meteorologists in the country.

Today, meteorologists promise variable cloudiness and brief showers, mainly in the northern part of the country and in the Karpas region. Storms on land and at sea are not expected today.

Air temperatures have also normalized: the thermometer readings will rise to 19°C, which corresponds to seasonal climatic norms.

Weather on February 5th by regions:

Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 19°C, Lapta – 17°C, Akdeniz - 18°C, Aleka - 15°C, Esentepe - 16°C.

Western Coast: Lefke – 18°C, Guzelyurt – 19°C.

Central Part: Nicosia – 18°C, Ercan – 18°C.

Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 19°C, Iskele – 19°C.

Karpas: Yenerenköy – 17°C.
