TRNC Department of Culture Announces Grant Applications for Fine Arts Associations
The Department of Culture under the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment has announced the opening of applications for financial support for associations engaged in fine arts in Northern Cyprus. Applications will be accepted from May 4 to May 15, 2026.
For the 2026 period, the total support fund is 1.8 million Turkish Liras (1.8 million TL). Associations can submit up to two projects to be implemented between May 1, 2026, and April 30, 2027; however, only one project may be for overseas activities.
According to the regulations, the maximum aid per association is capped at 180,000 TL, and maximum support per project is 144,000 TL. The total cost of a single project must not exceed 360,000 TL. Associations must have been registered for at least two years and be actively operating; organizations with outstanding previous projects are ineligible.
Applications will be processed by appointment at the Department of Culture: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri — 09:00–13:30; Thu — 09:00–12:00 and 13:30–17:00. Updated 2026 application forms are available on the Department's website and must be completed electronically. Evaluation is conducted by a 12-member commission chaired by Department Director Şirin Zaimağaoğlu.
