Six Planets Will Be Visible in the Sky on February 28
On Saturday, February 28, residents of Cyprus will be able to witness a rare astronomical event — the simultaneous appearance of six planets in the evening sky.
According to the Paka Educational Center Observatory, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune will all be visible in a single evening.
Experts clarify that while the planets will not form a straight line, they will be present in the visible part of the sky for Earth-based observers at the same time.
Four of them — Mercury, Venus, Saturn, and Jupiter — can be seen with the naked eye. Uranus and Neptune will only be observable through a telescope.
The event is considered quite rare and is of particular interest to astronomy enthusiasts.
