21-year-old driver Gizem Gümüşsoy died in a road accident on the Ulukışla road in Northern Cyprus
This morning, at around 10:25, a traffic accident occurred on the road of the village of Ulukışla in Northern Cyprus, resulting in the death of 21-year-old driver Gizem Gümüşsoy.
According to the Police Press Office, while driving a vehicle with license plate MU 366, the driver lost control of the steering wheel on a right-sloping bend, left the road and crashed into a tree. As a result of the accident, she sustained severe injuries.
The injured woman was taken to Famagusta State Hospital. Despite all medical efforts, Gizem Gümüşsoy could not be saved and died in hospital.
The police report that the investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing. No additional official details have been provided so far.
