Mouflon Enclosures in Cyprus Temporarily Closed to Visitors
Mouflon enclosures in the Platania and Stavros tis Psokas areas have been temporarily closed to visitors, the Department of Forests announced.
The decision was made as a precautionary measure to protect the animals and prevent the spread of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD).
The department emphasized that such preventive measures help maintain animal health and protect Cyprus's biodiversity.
