Green Monday Celebrations in Voroklini Cancelled Due to Foot-and-Mouth Disease and Weather
The Voroklini Municipal Department has announced the cancellation of the Green Monday event that was scheduled to take place on Prophet Elias Hill.
As explained in the statement, the decision was made in compliance with government measures due to the site's proximity to livestock farms where cases of foot-and-mouth disease were identified.
"Protecting public health and complying with relevant directives are our absolute priority," the municipality emphasized.
An additional factor was the unfavorable weather conditions, which would have prevented the event from being held safely and in an organized manner.
