Classes disrupted at Paphos school due to vandalism
Classes at the Polis Chrysochous lyceum started late on Monday due to an act of vandalism.
Unknown individuals blocked the locks in more than 10 classrooms by inserting foreign objects into them. As a result, students could not enter the rooms.
School staff and technical personnel promptly arrived at the scene and managed to open the rooms and restore the learning process.
Authorities stated that they are already preparing measures to enhance security, including the installation of surveillance cameras.
The investigation is ongoing.
