19 Illegal Immigrants Detained in Paphos, 12 Already Deported
Police in Paphos, in cooperation with other competent authorities, conducted an operation to identify individuals residing illegally in the Republic of Cyprus.
During the raid, organized by the Aliens and Immigration Service, 19 third-country nationals were detained for violating migration laws.
Of these, 12 individuals were immediately repatriated. Deportation procedures for the remaining seven detainees are ongoing in coordination with relevant departments.
The police noted that efforts to identify and return individuals staying in the country illegally are carried out on a continuous basis.
