20-year-old driver arrested in Paphos after chase — drug test positive
In Paphos, police arrested a 20-year-old driver following a chase and an attempt to evade law enforcement.
According to police, officers signaled the driver to stop for a check, but he ignored the demands and tried to escape, leading to a pursuit. Shortly after, the vehicle was stopped and the driver was detained.
A conducted drug test yielded a positive result. An investigation has been launched against the young man.
Police are continuing to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
