Six Iranians detained in Limassol after armed brawl on the seafront
A conflict broke out between two groups of people on the Limassol coast, resulting in three injuries. Police detained six Iranian citizens residing in Cyprus.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 20:00. Men aged 31, 33, 34, 34, 35, and 43 were involved.
During the conflict, one of the participants pulled out a pistol and fired several shots. As a result, three people sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital, one of whom suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.
All six individuals have been arrested and are expected to appear in court for a remand hearing.
Police are investigating the case as attempted murder.
