Explosion occurs at flower shop in Limassol
An explosion occurred at a flower shop owned by a 49-year-old woman in the Kato Polemidia area of Limassol during the night.
According to police, around 01:30, two individuals approached the building, planted a low-power improvised explosive device, detonated it, and fled the scene.
The explosion caused serious damage to the shop's facade, as well as to two cars parked in front of the building.
The blast was reported to be very loud, and was heard by residents in several areas of Limassol.
Police are continuing their investigation. The shop owner is expected to be called in to provide a statement.
