Larnaca begins preparations for Kataklysmos Festival
Following Easter, Larnaca is gradually shifting its focus to preparing for one of its major summer events — the Kataklysmos Festival (Festival of the Flood).
The municipality has already announced the start of applications for stall placements along the Phinikoudes promenade. Applications can be submitted from April 27 to May 15 at the Citizen Service Center.
This year, the festival, which coincides with Whit Monday (Day of the Holy Spirit), will take place on June 1 and traditionally marks the start of the summer season on the island.
It is expected that the six-day program will include concerts, cultural events, and traditional festivities, as in previous years. The full schedule will be announced at a later date.
