IN THE MOUNTAINOUS REGIONS OF CYPRUS, FROST IS POSSIBLE, ON NOVEMBER 20TH
According to the Meteorology Department of the Republic of Cyprus, on Monday, November 20, the region is affected by weak low pressure, and tomorrow, weak high pressure is expected. Local frosts are possible in the mountainous areas this evening.
In the first half of the day, the weather will be predominantly clear, with increased cloudiness possible in the northern half of the island. The wind will be north-west, ranging from weak to moderate.
According to the meteorological forecast, the daytime temperature today will be 23°C in the inland areas, on the southern and eastern coasts, around 21°C on the remaining coasts, and as low as 11°C in the mountainous regions.
In the evening, the weather will be predominantly clear. The air temperature will drop to around 8°C in the inland areas and on the southeast coast, approximately 10°C on the southeast and northern coasts, around 13 degrees on the remaining coasts, and down to 3°C in the mountainous regions, where local frosts are expected.
On Tuesday, the weather will be predominantly clear, with a slight increase in temperature, fluctuating slightly above the average climatic values. No significant changes are expected on Wednesday and Thursday.
