Police conduct large-scale raids: over 280 violations in one night

Police conducted nationwide preventive operations, during which 281 traffic violations were recorded in a single night. The most common violation was speeding, with 128 reports filed.
According to the police, law enforcement officers increased their presence throughout the country during the evening and night hours. Patrols were stationed in key urban areas to prevent crime, maintain public order, and enhance the sense of security among citizens.
As part of the operation, police officers stopped 458 vehicles for inspection and checked 562 individuals. Additionally, 40 establishments were inspected, resulting in six reports of violations.
Police data shows that in addition to administrative fines, 11 investigations into various offenses have been launched. Seven vehicles were also impounded during the raids.
Special attention was paid to identifying drivers operating vehicles under the influence. During the night, 79 alcohol tests were conducted, three of which were positive. Four drug tests were also performed, with preliminary tests yielding positive results in three cases.
The police emphasized that such operations are conducted daily and aim to prevent crime, ensure citizen safety, and maintain public order. Law enforcement agencies stated that enhanced inspections and patrolling will continue in the future.
