Attack in the Konia area: man stabbed, police searching for the attacker

The incident occurred in Konia this afternoon. The authorities in Paphos have placed services on high alert.

According to preliminary data, a local resident parked his car near a kiosk, where he accidentally bumped into another person. They exchanged a few words, after which the stranger suddenly pulled out a knife and stabbed the man.

The victim, covered in blood, managed to reach the kiosk and ask for help. The employee immediately called emergency services. An ambulance transported the injured man to the hospital.

Police cordoned off the area and launched an investigation. Detectives are reviewing CCTV footage and questioning witnesses.
