One lane closed on Nicosia — Limassol highway
From 09:00 AM, the left lane of the Nicosia — Limassol motorway heading towards Limassol has been closed. The restriction applies to the section between the GSP stadium and the exit to Megalou Alexandrou Avenue near the weighing station in Latsia.
According to police, the section is temporarily closed for investigative work and the recovery of a vehicle that collided with a police patrol car last night.
The exit to Megalou Alexandrou Avenue remains open to traffic.
Police urge drivers to exercise extreme caution, reduce speed, and maintain a safe following distance on this stretch of road.
