Dogs now allowed on Potamia Beach

Dogs are now welcome on Potamia Beach in the Kappari area of Famagusta. Facilities for dogs are provided free of charge.
The beach is equipped with umbrellas, sun loungers, and toilets – all available at no cost.
Dog owners are reminded that pets brought to Potamia Beach must be vaccinated and have medical records.
For safety reasons, dogs must be kept on a leash, and aggressive dogs must wear muzzles.
Owners are also responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Violations of the rules are subject to fines, according to the municipality.
